A DICTIONARY OF ANGELS - Gustav Davidson (The Free Press, NYC)

Scarce 1960's Hardback w. dustjacket. 388 pages

Gustav Davidson’s classic text, A dictionary of Angels: Including the Fallen Angels, is the result of sixteen years of research in Talmudic, gnostic, cabalistic, apocalyptic, patristic, and legendary texts. This well researched and exquisitely illustrated dictionary is a thorough encyclopedic reference of angel names, attributions and angelic lore and a valuable resource for magical practitioners and researchers.

This is the 1969 hardback print of the 1967 first edition.

Condition : Very Good. The book is in excellent condition, with light edge-wear to boards and edges. Internally there is a catalogue reference number in pencil to top of first paste-down, otherwise clean and unmarked throughout. Dust-jacket has some chipping around spine edges and some wear across the top and bottom edges. Now in protective mylar covcer. Colour is vibrant and the jacket is otherwise complete, which is scarce with the hardback. Overall a nice copy of this scarce volume.
